Blog Award

I have been honoured with a Blog Award! My first award, How very exciting!

I have received the Liebster award from Debs over at, who's blog truly is an inspiration to me, her work is stunning Thank you so much Debs.. I am thrilled by the award!

Now.. there are rules to follow when you get this award (which is all very new to me) and they are as follows..... (copied and pasted from Debs Blog...)
I must pass on the award to five other people, who's blogs have inspired me, It also needs to be someone who has less than 200 followers.
Put a comment on their blog, so that they know about it.
Link back to the person who gave me the award and thank them.
Post the award on my blog.
So. who are my 5? Hmmm, the key is the less than 200 followers.... some of the blogs i follow dont fit the rules lol But.. my five are....

The first is Tabitha over at

Second is Liz over at

Third is The one true heart of Stampin up Carole over at

All of these blogs have filled me with ideas and have registered high on my chart due to the quality of work and sheer yummyness they contain!

So i would like to finish with a very big THANK YOU to Debs who made some great cds xxx

Valentines Day ....

Hello everyone Mamma Admin on the Craftboard that i am an admin in on facebook is running 2 challenges as a tribute to Sarah Lawrence from Craft Stamper & Scrap365 Magazines who suddenly died in December 2011

These are the options
Option 1
Create a Card, Scrapbook Page or 3D Project using the free Stamp thats attached to the February issue of Craft Stamper magazine.
It MUST be created in Black & White, with the minimal addition of just one other colour!

Option 2
Create a Card, Scrapbook Page or 3D Project again using the free stamp, but this time you are free to choose what ever colours you like!

The winner will be chosen by Katy Fox ~ Editor of both the Craft Stamper & Scrap365 Magazines

The prize is a black apron embroidered with the Craft Stamper logo
So here is what i came up with
Option 1 Black and white with 1 bit of red

I did 4 layers of black and white, embossed to 2 white ones cutting the flower shape out of the top white one and embossed it on the black one. then turned it over and cut it so that it looked like petals when rolled and stuck down. i also used card candi, i made the 3 small flowers. I glassed the heart with embossing powder and the saying i made up.

Here is option 2 any colour we like

For this one i chose to use white, pink and red, I inked the hearts on pink card, heat embossed using a scented embossing powder, used a smaller heart stamp and added some red ribbon and gems and used a
Martha Stewart punch on the bottom of the white card

I hope that Sarah Lawrence would have like these cards using the stamp for her magazines x

The Month Of Romance!!

Ok it is that time of the month for Challenge, with 4 fab free papers for you to print of and make your card. This is what i came up with
When I looked at the paper i just new what i was going to make, it is a half gate-fold card. I wanted the card to look like it was a panel on the front  so it is a mirror image of it self, what i did on one side i did the same on the other, but when you open it, it still looks like it one panel
I used a martha stewart punch in gold and white down the edge of both sides I also added the love heart swirl in gold then added a red heart on top, flowers and card candi. to finish it off i added an I and U on to the hearts to make it say I love you using the main heart.

If you want to join in in this challenge just pop along to to down load your free paper.

Tabitha Mellor is our Guest Designer this month & here is her take on the sketch, i just love the way she has used the same flower on all of the papers well done Tabitha

Ok well this months challenge is now over and done with, there was 19 cards made in total and here is the winning card

This great card was made by Jane Bryan. Jane dose not make card because she is a scrap booker, if that is what they are called, but she made this card for my challenge. And because her card won this month she will be the Guest Designer over on the blog
