Hello everyone and yes it is that time again.......Challenge Time over at The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge Blog

This month it is Halloween / Autumn

Now I have made 3 things for this challenge, the first is a card.....

I made this card by firstly using white card stock, ran it through my Cuttlebug with a dots embossing folder. Then I inked it using purple ink. I heat embossed some script writing onto black card stock. added some orange card stock with ribbon on the top and a bow. coloured the image with my pro-markers. To finish it I add the words.

My second this is a card using Autumn colours

I heat embossed the flowers on some photo paper that i have inked, using the same dots folder I inked the edges with orange ink and added a ribbon and bow

My third is a little bag

I used a bag template ran it through my GC using the same embossing folder coloured some images and stuck them around the bag

If you would like to join in me and the rest of the DT would love to vist your blog and look at your stunning work. then pop along to The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge Blog

Challenge Number 3

My DT Card

Challenge #3 ~ Tic Tac Toe
Welcome to challenge number 3 over at The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge Blog.
This month it is Tic Tac Toe
Here grid with 9 prompts, you must choose 3 of them only by choosing a line to create your example with.
Choose by going up & down, side to side or diagonally in any of the 3 lines. Here is the grid

           Bright
    Colours

      Flowers

     Ribbons

        Buttons

            Lace

   Eyelets

     Die Cuts

         Glitter

       Pastel
  Colours

When I looked at the grid I just could not pick 1

So here is the first one......
Bright Colours, Flowers and Ribbon

I used my embossing folders on the background. I then got my embossing pen went over the flowers and heat embossed them in bright yellow. Inked the edges with my Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. Coloured the Tilda in Yellow and Orange and added the bright orange ribbon and bow and card candi

Card Number 2
Button, Lace and Eyelets

Now this one I made in to a congrats card, because you never know when you will need 1. When you look at this you can see what I have done lol, The stamp set is from Stampin Up. The boarder bit that the lace is sat on is a Martha Stewart Punch, added Baker's Twine also from Stampin up. The buttons are from my tin.

Card Number 3
Die Cuts, Glitter and Pastel Colours

Now the people who know me know that these 3 things together and im in heaven. So here is my card for this

As you can see from the second photo it is all about the Die Cuts, I have used the Spellbinder Dies to make the larger flower, Spellbinders Bitty Blossom to make the smaller ones, Spellbinder Foliage to make the leaf's added a few rose buds and hat pins. the Swirl die is from Memory Box, The Ovals are from Spellbinders and the letters are Sizzix. To make the glitter backing paper I heat embossed it with Heat It Up Holographic Embossing Powder. Oh I forgot to say this is an 8x8 card.

The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge Number 2

Hello and welcome, This month the challenge is EMBOSSING.

This can be Dry Embossing ie. Using a Die cut machine or a Light box
or
Heat Embossing ie. Embossing Powders & a Heat Gun.
You can also buy Pre-Embossed  card stock
or
Improvise by creating your own embossing effect.

Here is my card and what I used

Well this challenge was right up my street, because I love to emboss. I like how it bring some touchy feely texture to even the simplest of cards.
I have made a wedding card for this challenge, using my embossing folder to do the background and then heat embossed the flower and leafs to give it that bit more bling.
Here is what I did.... I used the large Intricate Heart, La Rue Heart and the 2 Cupid Hearts all from Memory Box. I used the Lattice Embossing Folder from Creative Expressions. Gold Embossing Powder from C & C. To make the gold dots around the outer edge I used Dylon 3D Pearl Paint, it works in the same way as liquid pearls only cheaper and lastly to make the flowers and leafs I used Spellbinder Dies.

If you would like to see what the rest of the Design Team have done and also take part in this challenge for the chance to win a prize then pop over to http://thecupboardtrilogychallenges.blogspot.co.uk. We would all love to see what you come up with.

Time to Embellish

Hello everyone, well here we go....I made a card last night for my new Grandson who is due in September. When i finished it I looked at it and thought it had to be entered in the Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge. So here is my card

The card is a 6 x 6 square. I used Crafter's Companion Popcorn Bear Children CD. Using gold mirri card as a back drop to the two different kinds of blue patterned paper makes it stand out. I used 2mm foam pads to make the decoupage Bear and added a New Baby Boy sentiment.

When adding the embellishments I though long and hard, as it is for a new baby you can not go over the top. So I settled  for adding 6 pearls, a bow and 3 small flowers in blue. I think that they finish off the card lovely.

If you would like to join in then pop along to Crafter's Companion and enter your card
