Martha Stewart Punch's

Hi everyone, well I have been playing with my new Martha Stewart punches today, using them to go around the circle. I cut them using my X-Cut circle shapes on scrap paper first just to see what size would work. Here is the cards I made.

I used Navy and Green card stock, Card Candi, Navy and Green Ribbon, and a Lili of the Valley Stamped image. I cut a large circle in the navy and a smaller one in the green. Used my Martha Stewart conner punch making sure the top of the pattern on the punch is at the top edge of the paper. I then cut each of them in half-used one of my border punches in green and navy card for the middle.

March Sketch Challenge

Well hello everyone it 1st March 2012 and it is time for this month’s challenge over at The Craft Cupboard on Facebook. After last month I have made a few changes to it, I am now saying any 3 flower or butterfly embellishments and if you are making a male card, you can add 3 male embellishments. the winner of this month will become the guest designer for next month. The closing date is 8pm on the 26th March. Good luck to everyone.

Ok here is the layout

Here is my card

I used yellows and orange I heat embossed the white background with flowers and then went over it with a yellow ink pad. Once the card was finished I got gold glitter and put it into the middle of each of the flowers on the background and the images are from Debs cd over at debbeescds.co.uk

When picking your colour scheme look at your images (if they are on the computer) and then see if you have a backing paper to go with it......or look at your backing papers first if you are using a Digi image.
Ok here is the guest designer Jane Bryan cards

I just love the colours all blend together.
So well done

I would like to wish each and everyone who enters my challenge GOOD LUCK and have fun too x

Ok, the winner has been pick by random.org and thank god for that as there were 14 lovely cards made this month. So the winner is the lovely Valerie Whitlock with this lovely card
See you all very soon for the next layout challenge

The Month Of Romance!!

Ok, it is that time of the month for http://debbeescdsblogspot.blogspot.com Challenge, with 4 fab free papers for you to print off and make your card. This is what I came up with
When I looked at the paper I just knew what I was going to make, it is a half gate-fold card. I wanted the card to look like it was a panel on the front  so it is a mirror image of itself, what I did on one side I did the same on the other, but when you open it, it still looks like it one panel

I used a Martha Stewart punch in gold and white down the edge of both sides I also added the love heart swirl in gold then added a red heart on top, flowers and card candi. to finish it off I added an I and U on to the hearts to make it say I love you using the main heart.

If you want to join this challenge just pop along to http://debbeescdsblogspot.blogspot.com to download your free paper.

Ok well, this month's challenge is now over and done with, there were 19 cards made in total.

This great card was made by Jane Bryan. Jane does not make cards because she is a scrapbooker if that is what they are called, but she made this card for my challenge. And because her card won this month she will be the Guest Designer over on the blog  thecupboardtrilogychallenges.blogspot.com

Crafty Stash

Hi everyone just thought I would share with you all what I have been doing lately, in the group that I am with on Facebook there is a lovely bunch of ladies that sell their unwanted craft items. So yes I have been buying lol some lovely stamps and punches. when they arrived I looked at them and then this is what I can up with

I used the corner stamp all around the edge, cut out the fence, and put it on to foam pads to make it stand proud of the front. I stamped the girl on the inside of the card glittered her wings and added stamped flowers and hand made grass.
So I would like to thank those ladies that sold me these items that allowed me to make this card

January Sketch Challenge

Hi all, I have not been here in a long while so I thought I better tell you all what I have been up to, well I am still making cards but I have also made a few ATC. Now I will say I'm not an ATC-er if that's what they are called but I did have fun making them. I have also started a Monthly Card Sketch for a group on Facebook that I have kindly been made an admin on. Here is my layout

Here is the card that I have made

The cards that all the ladies have made are all beautiful. 20 cards made so far I just can't believe it. When I asked if I could run it I was worried that no one would enter, I just hope that I have as many next month when I do it again. so I would like to thank each and every one of them for making my challenge work x

UP-DATE...

Well, that is the first months done, what great cards were made 23 in total so thank each and everyone that took the time to make a card. The winning card was made by Emma Chapman and it was Emma's first every card. I think you have a great talent Emma keep it up.

Just hope that next months challenge goes just as well
