June's Sketch Challenge

Ok, everyone as I said in the last blog, I would give you next month's sketch challenge early so here we go...

As you can see I have done the same as last month, made a layout where you CAN NOT use any embellishments. I feel that it is good to go back to the start before we all added flowers and ribbons and everything.

Here is my card

Song Lyrics Challenge

Hi everyone, well over at  http://thecupboardtrilogychallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ our Jane has set a Song challenge. The Challenge is to make any paper crafted item. You will need to read the words of the song and interpret them through papercraft in your own way! Maybe you will choose to make something that includes wings, dance, or hero's or simply a colour that reminds you of the song. The Song Is  Bette Midler "The Wind Beneath My Wings" So I didn't need to listen to the song as I love it and know it word for word. So here is what I came up with

So if you would like to join in head over to the

pop your card on there we would love to see what you all come up with

First card for debbeescds DT

Hello everyone and yes it is the First of the month and it is my Fist Card as part of debbees cds DT, so please be gentle with me. When I looked at the lovely paper lots of different cards came to mind. Here is the card I made

It is an A4 piece of paper folded in half to make an A5 size card. But what I did is printed one of the backing papers onto it. I then cut a window in the front and put acetate to create a window effect. On the inside, I use one of the other backing papers and the large topper, made some bunting and stamped Happy Birthday onto it. I used card candi on the ends to look like it was holding the bunting up. I made a W shaped piece of paper to fix to the bottom to hold it up.

If you would like to join in go to
